Goodbye 2013, Hello 2014!! The weather outside may have been 30 below zero, but we were warmed by a roaring fire, some nice chardonnay, and we snuggled around the table and dined by candlelight. |
Celebrating New Year's Eve together has been a tradition for 30 years. |
The table was set in such a festive manner, using the new coasters from mother-in-law Barbara to highlight the smoked glass champagne flutes. |
These marabou feathered name card holders were too much to resist - I had to have them!! They say "celebrate", "cheers", and "salute" in black glitter. Perfect for a New Year's Eve table. |
They just make me smile. |
Atop the Serena Bass plate and salad plate were the triple napkins - a silver/gray cotton inside, wrapped in a wine colored sheer, covered with the silver metallic with beaded trim. Posh, indeed. |
We had to use these placemats last night, they are an icy blue with gobs of baubles. Festive. |
The merlot colored dinner plates are so pretty on top of the Ralph Lauren tablecloth! |
