A touch of red was all it took to cheer me up this afternoon. |
Doesn't this chase away the winter blahs? |
Petite silk hydrangeas promise that spring will soon arrive. |
The green napkin rings are like matte-finish stones surrounded by silver filigree. |
I fell in love with these sage green plates the moment I saw them. I love the edges because they're so interesting, and also a bit botanical. |
Another 'love at first sight' were these copper chargers. |
It must be the weather, I loved these floral chargers at first glance, too. |
It's always handy to have white or off white dishes for contrast. |
The final stack. |
Hope this makes you feel better today, too. Spring surely can't be too far off, can it?

Hi, found you on Kathewithane. I like looking at tablescapes and my start to do them too, although it will take awhile to acquire everything. We have tons of snow here too..
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, and welcome to A Graceful Table! So happy that you found us! We hope to inspire you on your tablescaping adventures. In the meantime, use what you have and can find in your surroundings to get started.
DeleteI live in central TX, and I can't begin to imagine what it is like to live with all that snow. How do you do it? '-)
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy you stopped by to visit because it brought me straight over to your lovely table. Yes, I can see how you immediately fell for those different plates. Each one is gorgeous. Love the name of your blog, A Graceful Table. I'm your newest follower and look forward to frequent visits.
Hi Sarah! I loved your blog and smiled when you mentioned 'goodwill hunting'. The green plates, the off-white plates, and the floral chargers were all Goodwill finds! The copper chargers were found at a consignment shop.
DeleteI just spent a few days in San Antonio, where it was cold and we missed the snow by one day. Was SO hoping for some sun and warmth. Just wasn't in the cards.
You have inspired a couple of new posts, so stay tuned, and thanks for being a follower. We appreciate it very much.
