As busy as a greenhouse operator
can be in April, we always take
time to celebrate Easter with
family and friends.
Hop on Over......
The world around us at Easter time is waking up after a long winter slumber.
The days are longer, and spring is in the air!!
The colors are so vibrant after months of grey skies and the winter landscape.
The 'stack' starts with a Bordallo Pinheiro charger.....
...a bunny dinner plate......
......matching salad plate......
.....floral napkin and menu.
At each end of the table were place settings that
didn't match, but complimented the bunny dishes.
Celedon green Bordallo Pinhiero dinner plates with
bunnies around the rim, and yellow Bordallo salad plates
adorned with carrots.
Artland Iris stemware in green and white alternated
at every other place setting.
I love all my salt and pepper shakers, and use them often. Asparagus,
chicks,
and carrots.
Since these are all real parties and meals, it isn't always easy to be
the cook and the photographer, so sometimes the saran wrap on the butter dish
make it into the blog.
Oh, how I love these paper placemats by Michel Design Works!!
The center of the table featured silver branch candelabras
with lime green tapers and a garland of white spring flowers.
The centerpiece on the kitchen island,
where we enjoyed hors d'oeuvres before
the buffet was set up.
Sweet bunny candleholders flank the centerpiece of peonies, roses, and daisies.
In the foreground is the Meyer lemon chiffon tart,
ringed with blackberries.
It was as good as it looks, especially on these plates:
Dear friends and family. Let's eat!

Beautiful table! I'm crushing over the green bunny plates. I've seen them before and want to find a set of the salads. Just lovely all the way around.
